Gathering Together

 An affirmation are  true statements or words that need to be said out loud, each day if possible. They are Godly words that will bring healing and restoration to our lives.The spoken word has power.  We can bring life or death by our words. Matthew 12:37 (Amplified Bible) "For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced."

     What is the definition of an affirmation; "the assertion that something exists or is true. That which is asserted; an assertion; a positive statement"

Our words can encourage or discourage people and like the scripture says it can bring life or death, hurt or healing.  But no matter how we use our words, how we speak about ourselves, whether it is negative or positive, there is a reaction in the spirit world. We can say positive words and allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives for our good or we can speak negatively about ourselves and give Satan the upper hand and an opening into our lives to bring us down and steal from us.  The Bible has a lot to say about our words and how they can effect us.

 Proverbs 18:20-22 (Amplified Bible) "A man's [moral] self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth; and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [whether good or evil]. 21Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].

 Even if you do not talk badly to others, how do you speak of yourself?  My affirmations were designed for my own personal use and were accumulated over many years, one by one.I know what to share these affirmation with ouy, to help strengthen you.   I ended up with many pages of them each day.  I would like to say that I read all of them out loud each day, and in a perfect world that would happen, but I read them at least a couple of days of the week. I try my best and I believe that if you are trying than God honors our time with him.  Read OUT LOUD!!  It isn't as effective if you just read the words with your mind.

Remember our thoughts turn into words.  The battle is in our mind.  Kinda like, you are what you eat. Get it.  If you say "I can't do it", chances are that you won't.  If you say "I can do all things through God who strengthens me"  then nothing can stop you.

Print out the attached .doc and hang the Affirmations  in your house somewhere that you go often. I put mine in the bathroom.  When you walk into the room, just stop what your doing and speak them out loud.  Try it.  Doing this has changed my life and it can change yours also.  Send me your affirmations too. Email them to;

Hope you have a blessed day!
