Edwina E. Cowgill
Edwina has written numerous articles; many have been published on various websites, including the Houston Examiner, F.A.I.T.H.: Following Always Intently Trusting Him; The Sara-Ministry.com, and the Midsouth Diocese of the Charismatic Episcopal Church and in church newsletters. Her short story “Kate’s Story: A Story of Redemption and Love” was published in 2009 in Count It All Joy! A second short story, “The Front Porch” was published in Skinned Knees and Skate Keys in 2010. Edwina publishes a blog on a weekly basis and during the season of Advent, she publishes an Advent Devotion each day.
Edwina is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW), Writers of Remarkable Design (W.O.R.D., ACFW Georgia Chapter), and Christian Writers United, a writers’ group in her hometown. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Logos University and is a Certified Behavioral Analyst.
She has reviewed numerous books for American Christian Fiction Writers’ (ACFW) authors and is a book reviewer for Thomas Nelson Publishing, FaithWords, and Multnomah Publishing. Edwina is a second-year judge for ACFW’s Genesis Contest, an annual contest for unpublished authors and ACFW’s The Carol Award, an annual contest for published authors. She has also judged contests for individual and state chapters of ACFW and Romance Writers of America.
Edwina has spoken to various women’s groups through her ministry, Monarch Ministry. She has a heart for women to understand who they are and whose they are in Christ, as evidenced by her mission statement: “Ministering the heart of God to the hearts of women.”
After performing editing work for over thirty years, Edwina started Monarch Writing Services in 2011, offering simple and comprehensive edits to ghostwriting and everything in between.
Edwina is married to her soul mate, Dave, and has two adult children and one grandson.
