Eccl:3 v.1 To everything there is a season: and a time to every purpose in heaven….
King Solomon said it well in describing the seasons of one’s life, if they are blessed with a long life. I have experienced most of those seasons. I can tell you that God has been faithful to me through them all—even when I was not. Through the good and bad times, the happy and sad times, I have not walked alone.
A new season in my life has begun. A season of writing. There seems to be something deep within that seeks expression. I don’t know all He has planned, but it’s His gig. This one thing I know and God wants you to know; He loves you. Any thoughts I share with you are intended to glorify God. In my books you will find that simple love while you journey with me in mystery and romance. We’ll walk together to see how God shows Himself to His creation. I hope you like the journey and learn as I have learned. God can be trusted. God is faithful.
Through a series of very difficult happenings, my husband and I find ourselves in the beautiful little, big city of Cody, Wyoming. I love it here. We sit at five thousand foot elevation, just fifty-six miles from the eastern gate to Yellowstone National Park. The beauty that surrounds us is breathtaking. My camera is constantly busy whether we’re driving up the Southfork, the Northfork , over the Chief Joseph Hwy to Sunlight or on up Hwy 212 through the Beartooth Mountains. I sit in wonder looking at magnificent sunsets that end a long day or experience the thrill of a powerful thunderstorm racing its way over Rattlesnake Mountain. Never in my life did I dream of deer finding their way into our yard and enjoying my flowers. Guess what? I don’t care.
I am a child of God, a wife, a mother of three and a grandmother to eleven. Blessed to be a stay at home mom for years, my husband and I owned our own business. I then, ventured out into the world of sales. My experience in ministry was involvement with Women’s Aglow Fellowship. I am a full-gospel lady. My belief is Mark ch.16 is an everyday, twenty-four hour a day, walk with God.
Besides the new season of writing, I am also a CNA in a long term care center. I am blessed in that they allow me to minister to the residents, with the resident’s permission. God is good.
I am a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, Crime Scene Writers Yahoo group and WOW, Write On Wyoming, Cody’s local group of writers. I attend Open Gate Church and I’m one of the leaders of the Big Horn Basin Tea Party. My plate is full.
