 Power of a Telephone Conversation



 Sometimes we can appear to have a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde personality in the home and it sounds something like this. We can be screaming at our spouse, berating a child or insulting a parent and then something quite dramatic happens……….the phone rings. We answer the phone and in a quite pleasant manner saying, “Hello, Oh hi Sally. Yes, I’m doing fine. No, we couldn’t be doing any better. I’ll tell my lovely (husband, wife, child, mom, and dad) hello for you. Okay. Love you. Bye.” It takes great effort to tame the tongue. Seek peace and pursue it within your home. When addressing a spouse, child, or parent, especially during a heated moment remember to try to talk to them as if you’re expecting the phone to ring.
